Preparing For The Installation PREPARING FOR THE INSTALLATION You can make sure things go smoothly on installation day by taking care of the following beforehand:• Remove all breakable items, like vases, lamps, collectibles, and heirlooms.• Detach and store wiring from TVs, vcr/dvd players, Stereos, and Computers.• Clear desktops, tabletops, bookshelves, tops of dressers and closet floors.• Remove all sheets, blankets and bedspreads from beds. • Our installers will gladly remove hinged doors and replace them after your new flooring is installed. If, however, your new flooring is thicker than your old flooring, the doors will need trimming for proper clearance. In this instance the doors will be left off their hinges so you can trim the doors.• You will be responsible for touching up the baseboard moldings after the installation.

Flooring can be greatly affected by these variables. *What is your budget? *What are the rooms is used for? *Are cleaning and maintenance schedules a factor in your decision?

Lifetime Limited Carpet Installation Warranty LIFETIME LIMITED CARPET INSTALLATION WARRANTYLifetime Limited Carpet Installation Warranty is for the “Life of the Floor”, meaning the length of the Limited Wear Warranty specified by the warranty level corresponding to the carpet you purchased and /or apply only to the original purchaser and original installation site and are not transferable. Installations performed by FCM employees or authorized independent contractors. Will be invalid if the flooring condition is due to lack of improper maintenance, cleaning, abuse, excessive moisture or temperature variations, home settling or excessive movement due to expansion and contraction, vandalism, alteration, normal wear and tear or by customer’s own repairs or removal of carpet to install stereo wires, cable, phone wires, etc. Consequential or incidental damages resulting from installation service are not covered by this warranty.Please note that in most carpet installations, seams are necessary. Our installers are trained to minimize seams; however, seams are inevitable and may be visible. Lighting will also affect the visibility of your seams.To qualify for this warranty, the original sales receipt or other documentation that demonstrates proof of purchase must be supplied.

Laminate Installation Warranty LAMINATE INSTALLATION WARRANTY 5 yrs. Limited Installation Warranty: FCM guarantees the quality of workmanship to be professional. Should further service be require due to deficiencies in the original installation of your Laminate floor, FCM will return and provide that service at no cost to you. These limited warranties apply only to the original purchaser and installation site and are not transferable.These limited warranties exclude laminate flooring that has been put to commercial use, abnormal use or conditions, or abused in any way. "Commercial use" includes, but is not limited to, use in a store, office, or other place of business. "Abnormal use or conditions" includes, but is not limited to, water damage from plumbing, storm, or flood; damage from smoke or fire; or other casualty event. These limited warranties do not cover indentations, scratches, stains, or damage caused by negligence, moisture, erosion, pebbles, sand or other abrasives, pets, spiked-heel shoes, insufficient furniture protection, or improper alterations of the original manufactured product. "Abuse" is any use of the flooring that is unreasonable considering the normal and expected uses of a laminate floor in a residence.These limited warranties do not apply to damages from exposure to extreme heat, dryness or water saturation, or stains as a result of chemical or industrial products (other than recommended cleaning products). These warranties apply only to residential installations performed by FCM or FCM authorized independent installer.To qualify for repair or replacement, the original sales receipt or other documentation which demonstrates proof of purchase must be supplied

Tile Installation Warranty TILE INSTALLATION WARRANTYFCM warrants that manufactured products will be free from defect at the time of the installation. This 5 Years Limited Installation Warranty is valid only for original owner-occupied residential installations performed by FCM employee or authorized independent contractors and will be invalid if the flooring condition is due to lack of or improper maintenance, cleaning, abuse, excessive moisture or temperature variations, home settling or excessive movement due to expansion and contraction, vandalism, alteration or normal wear and tear.This limited warranty excludes chips, scratches, or damage caused by improper care and maintenance, misuse, abuse, use of abrasives, insufficient protection from furniture, or any casualty event.It is the responsibility of the buyer to retain replacement materials in the instance that additional material is needed for replacement purposes. If replacement material is not available (i.e. material is discontinued or unavailable) at time of repair, FCM will find a close, but not guaranteed to be exact, substitute. To qualify for repair or replacement, the original sales receipt or other documentation must be supplied to verify date and proof of purchase.
